March 7 The 21st Annual Mid-Winter Dulcimer Festival
- Hate to brag, but this is one of the best little one-day festivals in the country. (Full disclosure: My club hosts this one.) June 14-20 Steve Kauffman Acoustic Kamp
One of the premier acoustic instrument camps in the country featuring classes in flat-pick and fingerstyle guitar, hammer dulcimer, fiddle, clawhammer banjo, songwriting, and mountain dulcimer. It's a week long camp that will completely engulf you in music from morning until . . . . I'll be teaching the dulcimer class, so please come join me and enjoy a great week playing with some wonderful people on a beautiful campus with a great view of the Smokey Mountains!  Class size is limited to 15, so register early. If you want to meet a LOT of dulcimer folk, this is the place to do it. This is a school in which you take intense classes from several nationally renowned players.
